The Minnesota Timberwolves’ star, Anthony Edwards, is undoubtedly among the elite young players in the league. He continually demonstrates his exceptional skills. He has swiftly emerged as a powerhouse for the Timberwolves, making waves with his impressive performances. Recently, though, he made the unexpected decision to stop playing NBA 2K with his friend for a rather surprising reason.
In a recent conversation with Rainbet, Edwards shared his experience about playing NBA 2K against a friend. He expressed that he had decided to stop playing the game with his friend because he felt that his friend lacked a competitive spirit. Edwards explained that unlike him, who enjoys the challenge and thrill of victory, his friend seemed indifferent to the outcome of their matches, showing little concern whether he won or lost.
“I told Slick I don’t play him in 2K anymore because he doesn’t have the competitive nature to care when he loses. That’s why we never play 2K anymore. I’m like, bruh, you gotta get some juice. You gotta don’t like to lose. I don’t like that about him, and I don’t play 2K like that. That’s what really pisses me off about it. And he plays 2K all day, 24/7, like MyPlayer, exhibition, he does that. So if I beat you, you should be f**king pissed, bruh. And I beat him, and then I’ll just go upstairs, and he won’t say anything about it,” Edwards said.

.This lack of engagement made the games less enjoyable for Edwards, leading him to seek other opponents who shared his passion for competitive play.
