High school quarterback Mikey Gow is going viral again, following a video that resurfaced online showing him displaying his ambidextrous ability.
Gow can throw accurately with both hands, even at the same time, and has attracted plenty of attention online, including from two-time NFL MVP Lamar Jackson, who has predicted that he will go No. 1 in the draft once he declares, although he has been encouraged to play baseball instead.
The 18-year-old has played for several high schools, including Nebraska’s Bellevue East High School and Mustang High School in Oklahoma, and currently plays for Omaha North High School in Nebraska following a transfer.
Surprisingly, Mikey Gow was not born ambidextrous. It’s said that he started learning to throw with his left hand after he injured his right arm, which left him unable to use it for nearly a year.
Check him out in the video below:

According to sources, the teenager has been scouted by Notre Dame, Michigan, Oklahoma State, and Texas, among other top college programs, though his unique throwing ability has been a subject of debate.
Gow was picked as part of the Under-20 U.S. Tackle National Team to participate in the IFAC Junior World Championship last year.
The youngster’s skill set seems like it could give him a unique advantage as a quarterback, given that he would be able to avoid defenders by adjusting during plays in a way that typical quarterbacks can’t.
While some scouts reckon he could revolutionise football, others aren’t sure it’s anything more than a gimmick.
