Football is a dangerous game. It’s so dangerous that people who aren’t playing in a game or actively practicing might find themselves in the middle of the action.
Such was the case when Arkansas athletic director Hunter Yurachek was simply watching the Razorbacks football team scrimmage when he became part of the acton.
Yurachek caught a cleat to his face when running back Josh Oglesby bounced it outside, and was taken down out of bounds by an Arkansas defender. He momentum made him slide over with his leg up and catching Yurachek in the face with his cleats.
Hunter Yurachek later posted the video of the incident and made a clear reference to the Bobby Petrino motorcycle accident scandal.
Petrino was 34-17 at Arkansas. He was famously fired from the program after the motorcycle crash revealed an affair that he was having with a staffer. The team hasn’t been able to recover as they are 40-69 since, and are on their fourth full-time head coach in the last decade.
