What a freaking game between the UCLA Bruins and Gonzaga Bulldogs.
Thanks to freshman Jalen Suggs’ buzzer-beating 3-pointer, the top-seeded Gonzaga Bulldogs are on their way to the National Championship game against the Baylor Bears.
Naturally, athletes across all sports, from LeBron James to Patrick Mahomes, chimed in on the memorable ending to a back-and-forth contest.
Gonzaga legend Adam Morrison saw his superb college career end in a heartbreaking loss to UCLA in 2006, so it was only right he got to see what happened 15 years later.
Morrison was on call for Gonzaga’s radio broadcast of the game, and watched alongside Tom Hudson as Suggs made the shot.
Here he is going crazy during that moment:
Back in 2006, the No. 3 seed Gonzaga were bested by the No. 2 seed UCLA Bruins, despite Adam Morrison coming into the game averaging over 28 points per game that season.
