It’s believed that Jordon Hudson’s influence over Bill Belichick could be weakening.
The new UNC head coach hasn’t moved without his 24-year-old girlfriend at his side. But he appeared at a book event in New York alone this week.
Well, technically, he wasn’t alone. The former Patriots HC has gotten some professional help, soliciting a PR guru to help him get through the rest of his tour following his awkward interview on CBS.
Belichick’s interview with the network was largely overshadowed by Hudson’s presence, although she was off-camera. The former cheerleader would interrupt the sitdown after the Tar Heels coach was asked how they met.
While the incident left people questioning Bill and others concerned about him, it’s said that he wasn’t all that moved. Even so, he appears to be resuming his book tour without Hudson.

“Cooler heads may be starting to prevail,” Page Six noted, citing a source. “Her influence may be waning.”
It’s understood that there were no signs of Hudson and that if she was in attendance, she kept a low profile. Belichick also showed up to the event in a suit, not the sweater with holes in it he used for his interview with CBS.
An audience member recorded the eight-time Super Bowl winner discussing the NFL and player motivation. He was laid-back while speaking about the game he’s helped shape, and made time to sign books for the students who came to hear him speak.
It appears there’s hope for Bill after all.
