Jamarion Brown had a lot more life to live and more love to receive, but now none of that will be possible after his life was taken from him in another senseless act of violence.
A shooting at a pool party left the Mount Pleasant graduate and basketball athlete dead and two others injured.
Brown, a basketball player at Henderson State University in Arkansas, was at a pool party in east Camp County when he reportedly suffered a gunshot wound to the head. According to a report from KLTV, he was taken to a nearby hospital for immediate treatment.
Unfortunately, his injury was too severe, and he succumbed to his injuries after making it to the hospital.
The suspect has been identified, but an arrest warrant hasn’t been issued yet. The Texas Rangers are still investigating this incident.
Jamarion Brown was just 23 years old.
