Several protests took place on Friday night in the United States due to the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, but none of them got as rowdy as the citizens in Atlanta.
In Atlanta, the College Football Hall of Fame was not only heavily damaged, but people were said to be looting inside of it.
As you can see below, videos and pictures capture the extent of the damage at the CFB Hall of Fame:
College Football Hall of Fame CEO Kimberly Beaudin provided an update on Saturday and stated that none of the artifacts or memorabilia were damaged last night.
“We support the peaceful protests that honor [Floyd’s] memory but unfortunately deteriorated into chaos and disorder,” Beaudin said. “We are heartbroken to see the damage to our city and the Hall of Fame.”
