
Southern Jaguars wide receiver Quaydarius Davis is being accused of assaulting his girlfriend following a video surfacing online allegedly showing the player choking her out.
The clip in question, seen below, hasn’t been verified. However, Ja’Yunna Monae, the woman involved, has seemingly confirmed they were the ones being shown, claiming it was recorded by her neighbors’ cameras.
“I’m ok , my downstairs neighbors gots cameras , my upstairs neighbors got cameras pointed directly towards my door,” she wrote in a tweet.
The person said to be Davis is shown choking a female victim and dragging her around.

Monae added that she called the police, as did her neighbors, and will be pressing charges.
The incident is understood to have taken place after Monae ended the relationship.
“Everything is captured… I called the police ,my neighbors called the police ..I will be pressing charges , and NO I AM NOT GOING BACK,” she continued. I’m the one who initiated the break up cause so many red flags were occurring.”

Monae, who said she was thankful to be alive after the ordeal, revealed having gone to the hospital but was doing okay apart from some soreness, although her neck sustained some bruising.
Quaydarius Davis is a senior at Southern University and plays as a WR for the football program. He began his college career at Jackson State before transferring to Texas Southern. He later joined the Jaguars.
Davis recorded 15 receptions for 151 yards and one touchdown last season.
