A tragic incident has sent shockwaves through the Frisco, Texas, community after 17-year-old student-athlete Austin Metcalf was allegedly stabbed to death by Karmelo Anthony.
Anthony was a football player at Frisco Centennial High School. He has been charged with first-degree murder for allegedly stabbing Austin Metcalf, a student and athlete at Frisco Memorial High School.
One of the many theories about the incident is that Austin previously bullied Karmelo.
A spokesman for the alleged killer’s family is not shutting down those rumors.
Dominique Alexander, a spokesman for Anthony, was forced to deny that Metcalf had bullied Anthony before the fatal confrontation.
“The disinformation that is going online is hurting this case, and it has to stop. As we know right now, Austin Metcalf and Karmelo Anthony did not know each other,” said Alexander, who works with Next Generation Action Network.

Karmelo Anthony Facing Years In Prison

Karmelo Anthony remains in police custody on a $1 million bond in the fatal stabbing of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf.
Because of his age, even if he were convicted, he would not face the death penalty or get life in prison.
However, Anthony would still be facing a significant time in prison.
A donation page for Anthony has received more than $300,000 for his legal defense.
