
Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith is two years away from being eligible for the NFL Draft, which is a long wait for football fans, considering how sky-high his potential is.
Smith doesn’t turn 20 until November, but he’s already touted as a “generational” wide receiver prospect by several NFL scouts and executives, per ESPN’s Jake Trotter. Colorado Buffaloes two-way star and 2024 Heisman Trophy winner, Travis Hunter, was the highest-rated player in “College Football” 25 at 99. Hunter received the special rating in December, with Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty getting the second-best rating at 97 overall.

In his first NCAA season, Jeremiah Smith racked up 76 catches for 1,315 yards and 15 touchdowns. Smith also got six carries for 47 yards and a TD, leading the Buckeyes to a national championship victory over Notre Dame.
Against the Fighting Irish, Smith caught five passes for 88 yards and a touchdown.
