
LSU gymnast and popular social media personality Livvy Dunne suffered a devastating knee injury that will keep her out of senior night.
On her Instagram story, Livvy Dunne announced on Friday that she suffered a fractured patella (a bone on the front of the knee joint) and will not be able to compete at senior night on Friday.

The 22-year-old graduated from LSU in December but decided to return for one more season with the Tigers’ gymnastics team. The senior night would have been Dunne’s final meet at home at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
Social media offered Livvy Dunne were disappointed to hear Livvy Dunne’s heartbreaking injury announcement:

The Westwood, New Jersey, native joined the Tigers’ gymnastics team in the 2020-21 season. Coached by Jay Clark, the Tigers went on to win the NCAA national championship in 2024.
Dunne is in a relationship with Pittsburgh Pirates star pitcher Paul Skenes, the first overall pick of the 2023 MLB Draft. Skenes went 11-3 with a 1.96 ERA and 170 strikeouts in just 133 innings pitched, earning 2024 NL Rookie of the Year honors and an All-Star Game selection.
What’s Next For Livvy Dunne After LSU Career?

Dunne has had a successful modeling career since joining LSU in 2020-21, so she’ll presumably continue to do that in her post-LSU endeavors. Dunne also said in September that she wants to mentor other LSU female athletes on maximizing their earnings on NIL (name, likeness, image) deals.
