The Auburn Tigers are headed to the next round.
The Auburn men’s basketball team knocked off Michigan State to reach the Final Four in March Madness.
Auburn will represent the South Region of the men’s NCAA Tournament bracket and compete in the Final Four against the No. 1 seeded Florida Gators, who took down Texas Tech 84-79 on Saturday.
On Friday, the Tigers earned a 78-65 victory over No. 5 seed Michigan.
Michigan State was coming off a 73-70 victory over Ole Miss, but could not stop Johni Broome, the SEC Player of the Year, who had 22 points and 16 rebounds in the matchup to lead Auburn.
While the men on the court may have been playing their hearts out, some fans couldn’t keep their eyes off the Auburn Tigers cheerleaders.

Auburn Tigers Made History

The No. 1 overall seed is headed to the men’s Final Four as the Tigers became the fourth team to punch their ticket to San Antonio, Texas, with a win over No. 2 seed Michigan State to win the South Regional and set up an all-No. 1 seed Final Four.
Auburn defeated Alabama State in the opening round, Creighton in the second, and Michigan before they beat the Spartans on Sunday.
Auburn made its first and lone Final Four appearance in 2019. This will be their second appearance.
For just the first time since 2008, the Final Four will feature all the No. 1 seeds: Florida, Duke, Houston, and Auburn.
