Back in early July, Kendrick Norton had his life and career turned upside down after a horrific car crash caused paramedics to perform an arm amputation on the scene to save his life.
His football career was over at just 22-years-old. Later that month, the Miami Dolphins waived Kendrick Norton with a non-football injury designation, which allowed the team to pay the 22-year-old his full salary.
It’s now been a month since the incident and Norton is now revealing his new life when he posted an inspiring video that showed the cleaning process he goes through for his amputated arm.
The former defensive tackle states during the video that he refuses to shed a tear about his situation.
“Ain’t no point in crying every day and being sad and stuff. Still got stuff to be done.”
His girlfriend, Kira, was also in that vehicle, and states she suffered internal bleeding, but is doing well.

“Don’t worry about me too much,” Kendrick says … noting he’s going to be okay and he’s not suicidal.
He even gave a message to some of his fellow amputees who are looking up to him as a role model …
“Don’t let what people say determine how you feel about yourself … that’s word to the wise for everybody.”
The Dolphins claimed Norton off the Carolina Panthers’ practice squad during the 2018 season and placed him on the 53-man roster, where he was expected to compete with 12 other defensive linemen to determine who makes it onto Miami’s 53-man roster.
