Florida redshirt freshman quarterback Jalen Kitna was arrested Wednesday, according to the Alachua County Sherriff’s Office.
If his last name seems familiar, it’s because he’s the son of former NFL quarterback Jon Kitna.
Via TMZ, the Florida Gators quarterback was arrested and booked at 3:20 p.m. ET.
It was later revealed that he was booked on child porn charges.
With these charges, his college football career is likely over before it ever begins.
Kitna appeared in four games throughout the 2022 season, most notably in Florida’s 52-17 win over Eastern Washington on Oct. 2 when he completed 8-of-12 passes for 152 yards and a touchdown
On the season, Kitna completed 10-of-14 passes for 181 yards and a score.
