Frank Gore Jr. is a workhorse just like his father was.
The Southern Miss running back was delivering punishment in his team’s victory over Rice in the LendingTree Bowl on Saturday night. In the 38-24 win, Gore set an all-time bowl record with 329 yards on just 21 carries.
His team needed every bit of his rushing as they took a 17-3 lead into halftime, however, Rice scored 21 unanswered points in the third quarter to get back into it.
Gore Jr. capped off his record-setting night with an electrifying 56-yard touchdown to ice the game against the Owls.
Southern Miss would score the game’s final 21 points.
The son of NFL legend Frank Gore was the star of the show, but he had one last stiff arm to deliver, but it came at the expense of one of his family members.
While being interviewed after the game, his celebrating aunt started to interrupt his moment, so he stiff-armed to get her to get her back up.
In case you are wondering, Gore Jr.’s father is 39-years-old. You are getting old as we all are.WANT MORE FROM TOTALPROSPORTS? FOLLOW US ON GOOGLE NEWS.
