Hockey players are some of the toughest athletes out there, but some injuries can’t be played through.
That was the case on Thursday during a game between the Niagara IceDogs and London Knights that got cancelled following a severe leg injury to Tucker Tynan.
The IceDogs’ goaltender had an opposing player collide with him when he suffered a major cut to his leg. It turned into a very bloody scene as medical staff came out and eventually took him off the ice on a stretcher.
He remains in stable and safe condition after successful surgery.
