Karmelo Anthony was released from jail on Monday after his bond was dropped from $1 million to $250,000.
He has no shortage of supporters when it comes to people hoping that he will one day be found not guilty.
Anthony stands accused of fatally stabbing Frisco track star Austin Metcalf.
Anthony stabbed Austin Metcalf at a high school track meet at the David Kuykendall Stadium in Frisco, Texas, earlier this month.
Austin Metcalf is dead over an incident that is said to have been started over him telling Karmelo he needed to move out of a seated area. One officer who responded to the scene said Anthony told him unprompted, without being asked any questions about the incident, “I was protecting myself.”
When the officer advised another responding officer that he had “the alleged suspect,” Karmelo Anthony reportedly responded, “I’m not alleged; I did it.”
Now, Anthony’s support has gone to an even crazier level.

Family and friends of Karmelo are now promoting new shirts with his face on them and a two-word message that says, “Free Melo.”
Not only that, a website has been set up with shirts that customers can buy. Someone is certainly trying to cash in.

Karmelo Anthony’s Family Moves Into New Home, Gets New Car
Karmelo Anthony, the 17-year-old Texas teen accused of fatally stabbing Frisco track star Austin Metcalf, is living big time these days.
Following his release, Anthony’s defense attorney, Mike Howard, suggested that the teen would claim self-defense in his upcoming trial.
Aside from that, his family has been making some moves.
They are planning to move into a new home with the money raised for Karmelo’s legal fight.
It has been revealed they are holed up in an exclusive gated community in a $900,000 house and reportedly purchased a new vehicle.
