On Monday night, President Donald Trump and the First Lady were in attendance to watch the LSU Tigers defeat the Clemson Tigers 42-25 to win their first National title since 2007.
Now the team will be returning the favor.
On Friday, head coach Ed Orgeron and the LSU football team will visit the White House as special guests of President Trump, according to The Advocate’s Elizabeth Crisp.
LSU is set to depart for Washington, D.C., on Thursday and return on Friday. The Tigers will then participate in a parade on LSU’s campus on Saturday.
The Tigers win on Monday night ended Clemson’s 29-game winning streak and gave Orgeron his first title as a head coach.
Burrow, who will most likely be selected 1st overall by the Bengals in the 2020 NFL Draft, finished 31-of-49 for 463 yards and five touchdowns, a National Championship game record. He also added 60 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
As far as Clemson is concerned, I guess they can join their fan base with indulging in Pornhub as they did after the National Title game.
