Self-professed LSU superfan Deangelo Sanchez has shared his own POV video of the viral incident that took place during a College World Series game between the Tigers and the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers over the weekend.
In truth, Sanchez, one of the most popular LSU fans, is often spotted at games with a championship belt bearing school signage. Of course, he was in attendance when the Tigers captured their second title of the last three years, but the outing wasn’t without drama.
Videos of a woman in a yellow dress being held back by her partner after trying to jump her row to get at him surfaced online, also showing her kid begging her to calm down as he shouted, “Mommy, stop!”
Fortunately, the situation did not escalate, and Chavez has since shared his own recordings in which the woman is heard cursing him out.
“This lady tried to fight me & called me racial slurs so many times after LSU won the championship! This is what you call exercising peace in the midst of the storm! If you wanna sit down at an event, go to church b/c LSU ain’t for you!” he wrote as the caption.

LSU Superfan Offers Olive Branch After College World Series Altercation

Deangelo shared another clip where he claims the woman got mad because people were standing up to take photos with him. In this one, she’s shown hitting another woman’s phone out of her hands while she attempts to take a selfie.
The Tigers superfan appears to have attempted to mend fences, taking the high road by reaching out to the woman’s partner to offer an olive branch. He apologized for ruining their son’s experience, as it’s said that he stood in front of the kid the entire game and obscured his view.
There’s still nothing on whether he got a response.
