
Former Ohio State Buckeyes star wide receiver Braxton Miller was reportedly involved in a bizarre incident at a youth basketball game.
Braxton Miller never experienced success in the NFL, but he was among the most decorated and accomplished college football players during his tenure with the Buckeyes. Miller started out as a quarterback before a shoulder injury forced him to make the transition to wide receiver, where he continued to dominate opposing defenses.
In a Facebook post that his since been deleted (the screenshot is available below), a youth basketball referee named Idrees Ramsey accused Miller of throwing a basketball at him “in a vulgar and aggressive manner.”
Ramsey said the incident happened on May 18 at a boys’ grade six basketball game for the Amateur Athletic Union in Columbus, Ohio. Braxton Miller was apparently frustrated over his team losing by a single point, losing his temper to the point where he allegedly made the embarrassing scene in front of young kids.
Idrees Ramsey added that he “never experienced a situation” like that and called for adults to remember their responsibility of leadership:

Miller won a national championship with the Buckeyes in 2014 and racked up the individual awards during his college career. He was named Big Ten MVP, Offensive Player of the Year and Quarterback of the Year in 2012 and 2013. In 2011, he won Big Ten Freshman of the Year honors.
