The University of Oregon has successfully flipped a highly-touted quarterback in a move that should prove a huge loss for the Baylor Bears,
Late Tuesday night, The Athletic’s Ari Wasserman reported a “big time” QB was set to flip his commitment this Wednesday.
“Got word that there is going to be a big-time QB flipping tomorrow. Get some sleep, ladies and gentlemen, it’s going to be a wild ride,” he wrote.
At the time, it was widely believed that either Austin Novosad would flip from Baylor to Oregon or five-star QB Jaden Rashada would be walking back on his decision to join Florida in favor of Miami.
As of Wednesday, we’ve learned it’s the former, with Novosad taking to Twitter to tweet simply: “Sco Ducks.”
Okay, so not so simply. He had a pic and all…
247 Sports has Novosad down as the No.9 quarterback recruit for the 2023 class. Should he join the Ducks, as he obviously intends to, he will play behind Bo Nix.WANT MORE FROM TOTALPROSPORTS? FOLLOW US ON GOOGLE NEWS.
