Bill Belichick’s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, reportedly caused a giant stir behind the scenes that delayed his interview with CBS’s Tony Dokoupil.
Bill Belichick sat down for an interview with Dokoupil on the network’s “Sunday Morning” program to discuss his new book, The Art of Winning: Lessons from a Life in Football, that will be released next month.
Much has been made about Belichick’s relationship with Hudson, given their 49-year age gap (Belichick is 73, Hudson 24). The two have made plenty of public appearances together during their romance, and Hudson has also posted plenty about their relationship on Instagram.
During the interview, Dokoupil asked Bill Belichick how he met Jordon Hudson. Watching the interview from the side, however, Hudson stepped in and said they wouldn’t discuss the topic.
And if that wasn’t bad enough, a new report from TMZ reports that Hudson got so angry during the interview that she stormed off the set. Hudson’s behavior left Dokoupil “spooked”, per the report:
“At one point in the Q&A, Hudson got so heated … she stood up and walked out and wanted BB to follow. It’s unclear if Coach agreed, but the blowup delayed the whole interview for about half an hour.
We’re told once things calmed down, Dokoupil — who was “spooked” by the whole encounter — elected to wrap up things quickly and end the awkward experience.”

TMZ also reports that a second interview with Belichick was ultimately “scrapped” following the ordeal.
Belichick and Hudson met on a flight in February 2021 from Boston to Florida. Belichick, then approaching his 69th birthday, was still in a relationship with longtime girlfriend Linda Holliday at the time.
News emerged that the six-time Super Bowl-winning head coach and Holliday broke up in 2023 after a 16-year romance. Before their romance, Belichick was married to Debby Clarke and had three children.
Hudson is a former Bridgewater State University cheerleader who recently announced her plans to compete in the 2025 Miss Maine contest.
Bill Belichick Set To Begin His First College Coaching Gig

Bill Belichick was employed by an NFL team every year from 1975 to 2023, beginning as an assistant with the Baltimore Colts when he was 23.
Belichick left the New England Patriots after the 2023 season, but was surprisingly only interviewed by the Atlanta Falcons in the 2024 hiring cycle. They hired ex-Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris for the position, and Belichick spent the 2024 season as a TV analyst after going unhired.
