In baseball, it is recommended that you never dive head first when going to home plate, the same can be said at the finish of a track and field event.
The risk of getting injured didn’t stop Infinite Tucker from making sure he would win the men’s 400m hurdles at the SEC Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
The Texas A&M junior was headed towards the finish line alongside against teammate Robert Grant when Tucker took a Superman like dive and extended his arms to make sure he came in 1st place.
Going into the final few yards, it did seem like Tucker was about to lose his balance, so that dive was a last ditch effort to make sure he didn’t leave with a silver medal.
Just in case you were wondering, this was not illegal.
