A. J. Green Finally Speaks Out About Video of Him Saying “Trade Me” On Sidelines

A.J. Green’s 2020 season has been nothing short of a disaster thus far.

The 32-year-old has 14 receptions for 119 yards and is still looking for his first touchdown after five games. He hasn’t gotten on the same page with rookie quarterback Joe Burrow.

During one point in Sunday’s 27-3 loss to the Ravens — Green was viewed on the sidelines appearing to state “just trade me.”

It took a few days but he finally addressed that video on Thursday:

A.J. Green said the video of him appearing to say the team should trade him wasn't accurate. Green did admit to being frustrated, however.

#Bengals' WR AJ Green, asked if he wants to be in Cincinnati: "Of course. I think we are building something special here." Green also said the video on Twitter of him allegedly saying "trade me" during Sunday's game is not accurate.
