Since the announcement dropped earlier this week of the suspension of football related activities for the Alliance of American Football, many former players have scheduled workouts with NFL teams or have been signed already.
That was the ultimate goal of the upstart league before it would fold after just eight weeks of play.
Jhurell Pressley of the Arizona Hotshots is one of those players that is likely to be signed. Only thing that is holding it up right now is a pending suspension that he will have to serve in the National Football League. Wait, what?
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport explains:
Pressley was the leading rusher for the AAF with 431 yards in 91 carries.
He previously entered the NFL in 2016 as an un-drafted free agent out of New Mexico with the Minnesota Vikings. He also spent time with the Green Bay Packers, Atlanta Falcons, Jacksonville Jaguars and New York Giants before taking his talents to the AAF.WANT MORE FROM TOTALPROSPORTS? FOLLOW US ON GOOGLE NEWS.
