The Alliance of American Football suspended all football operations on Tuesday after owner Tom Dundon shockingly decided it was time to close the doors for good. It was a move that absolutely enraged co-owner Bill Polian and left a lot of players wondering if their football dreams just ended for good.
Among those players was Taiwan Jones, who thought he was getting ready to showcase his talent for the up-start league.
The former Michigan State and Jets linebacker signed a contract with the Memphis Express on Monday, but less than 24 hours later, he would be out of a job.
Jones, who last played in the NFL in 2016, was sick to his stomach.
Just heartbreaking for everybody involved.
