The Alliance of American Football started out like a sanctuary for football players to put their talent on display in hopes of getting a chance to making it to the National Football League.
They got eight weeks of action before the wheels fell off and league owner Tom Dundon would suspend all football related activities and eventually shut the league down for good.
The AAF has already been exposed for their treatment of players during this process, but most notably, during the end of the process.
The latest claim comes by way of Adrien Robinson, a former Giants tight end who was trying to get back into pro football by playing for the Memphis Express, who took to Twitter after finding out he was charged $2,500 for his stay in the team hotel.
“I woke up to over a $2500 charge pending on my account from the Sonesta hotel our team stayed in,” Robinson wrote. “I called the bank and Memphis team president. My only option is to dispute the charges on Monday. The same thing happened to other players on our team.”
Many wanted to know why they had his card in the first place and he explained:

One thing’s for certain, the players in the AAF deserved so much better than this.
