Aaron Rodgers has some head he can come to anytime he goes to his locker.
The Packers quarterback is gearing up to follow a kick-ass 2021 season after showing up to training camp doing his best Nicolas Cage impersonation, as he was dressed as Cameron Poe, the protagonist of the cult-classic film “Con Air.”
Since then, he has cleaned up a bit but it looks like he’s fully embracing the comparison. The passer randomly received a bust of the famed actor, which is now prominently displayed in his locker.
“Somebody just sent this to me yesterday with no message,” Rodgers said. … “That’s more like Nic Cage in his latest movie. ‘The Incredible Weight of’ — what’s it called?”
He recently detailed his cosplay of Cage.
“About two months ago, someone said ‘man you really look like Nic Cage,'” Rodgers said, per Sideline Report. “Before I could get offended, they were like ‘no no no it’s a huge compliment. I find him very attractive’ … So I thought about doing it but the night before I didn’t have my beater — my top.”
The Packers are seeking revenge after they were eliminated by the 49ers during the 2021 NFL playoffs. Rodgers did win a second-straight MVP for his efforts during the regular season, though.
