Aaron Rodgers has finally gotten his move to the New York Jets after being made to sit around and wait for weeks. But now that he’s found himself on the roster, there’s a new problem.
The former Green Bay Packers quarterback secured a Manhattan apartment for $4 million way ahead of the move, which came as great news to all Jets fans, though they are puzzled by the decision as it takes an hour-and-a-half to drive to the team’s MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
“That’s a really long commute considering the Jet campus is about an hour and a half away,” one fan noted on Twitter.
“With traffic – that’s about as close to East Rutherford as Green Bay is,” another added.

The QB seems to be trying to take in as much of New York as he can ahead of training camp. He was present at Madison Square Garden when the Miami Heat beat the New York Knicks in Game 1 of the second round of their Eastern Conference semis on Sunday.
The Heat knocked off the Milwaukee Bucks in five games in the first round, so Rodgers must be keen on seeing them lose as he is now dating the daughter of the Bucks owner.
Rodgers spent the first 18 years of his career with the Packers, winning a Super Bowl and four MVP awards. It will be interesting to see how things work out for him in NY. But it appears he might have already gotten off on some poor footing given his choice of residence.
