Amazon Prime Video will be the exclusive home for Thursday Night Football starting next season and they have already ushered in the era by changing the logo.
On Tuesday morning, Amazon unveiled the new logo for Thursday Night Football.
We are carving out a stake in what we think the future of football could be,” Ukonwa Ojo, the global CMO of Prime Video and Amazon Studio said, via Variety. “Our experience is going to be much more immersive than consumers are used to. We wanted to make sure that came to life.”
The new logo appears to be very bland forom what fans have been accustomed to, which is why NFL fans are roasting the design online.
Now that the logo is out of the way, Amazon needs to secure a broadcast team. Over the past few months, we’ve seen Al Michaels and Troy Aikman linked to the network.
We also had reports of former NFL running back Marshawn Lynch possibly being on the team.
So far, nothing has happened yet.
