Antonio Brown’s widely reported standoff with the police has finally come to an end, with the cops having made a decision on the direction they will be taking.
Reports of Brown’s accuser wanting to drop charges have been in circulation recently. The free-agent wide receiver had been accused of threatening the mother of his four children, kicking her out, and then locking himself inside her Florida home. He refused to come out at the behest of law enforcement officers.

A warrant was drawn up for Brown on December 1 following his accuser’s report but police were unable to enter the house to make an arrest as, according to League of Justice, “the arrest warrant police possess is not a search warrant so they say they have no authority to enter Brown’s private property.”

Police would have only entered the premises if they felt the 34-year-old was a danger to himself.
Antonio Brown Simply Waited It Out
The fiasco is now over, per Josh Cascio, who reports the lawmen have recalled the arrest warrant and that Antonio is free to come and go as he pleases.
This is all pretty strange. Is Antonio simply more informed than anyone else? Who would have thought that one could simply refuse to come out to face the cops and simply chill until they decide the whole thing is futile?
The police were also surprised by Antonio’s ability to remain inside for as long as he did as no food was brought into the house. Did Antonio quietly slip away to get grub while the lawmen watched the premises? He has proven to be a pretty elusive fellow, so who knows?
