Arch Manning has been turning heads for some time now. But after last night’s performance, the hype surrounding the highly-recruited Isidore Newman High School quarterback has never been higher.
And rightfully so.
The nephew of Peyton and Eli, and son of Cooper Manning led what his coach described as the team’s “best effort of the year,” tossing five touchdown passes in a 59-7 romp over Pearl River. And he didn’t even play in the final 21 minutes of the contest!
Arch was on point all night, hitting tight end Will Randle for his first two touchdowns — including an absolute dime right in the breadbasket on the second. He also hit wide receiver Chris Hunter for a pair of second quarter touchdowns during the contest.
Here’s a look at the highlights from Arch Manning’s big performance against Pearl River:
Arch now has 14 touchdowns in three games so far this season. He is being highly-recruited by several top programs, including Alabama, Ole Miss, Clemson, Texas and Georgia. However, during one of his recent telecasts on Monday Night Football, Peyton Manning appeared to reveal that Arch has chosen West Virginia — although nothing has been confirmed as of yet.
