The most expensive trading card in football history, a Tom Brady rookie card, recently sold for $1.32 million. That was back in early March of this year.
It lasted less than a month as Tom Brady continues to be great for business.
Less than two months after he won his seventh Super Bowl as a member of the Tampa Bay Bucs, an autographed Brady rookie card sold in the Lelands 2021 Spring Classic Auction for a world-record price.
“This card was purchased on eBay over a decade ago and has been tucked away in a private collection since then,” the auction house wrote in a description.

The 2000 Playoff Contenders Championship Rookie Ticket #144 Tom Brady Rookie Autograph card was sold for $2,252,854, the highest price ever paid for a football card.
The value of Brady’s rookie card is more than the veteran quarterback’s base salary for the upcoming season. After Brady restructured his deal to give the Buccaneers enough salary cap room to sign free agents, he is set to make just $1,075,000 for the 2021-22 NFL season.WANT MORE FROM TOTALPROSPORTS?
