Patrick Mahomes had his day made and ruined all in the span of 30 seconds.
Former player and NFL media member, Brandon Marshall, dropped a bombshell on Mahomes. He informed him that Rihanna had glowing things to say about him.
“Rihanna came out and said that you are the greatest quarterback ever. Hearing that, how does that make you feel,” Marshall asked.
Patrick Mahomes would go on to state how it made him feel, but it was all for nothing, because the reporter would soon tell him that Rihanna never stated as such.

“I have family members that I think are more interested in the halftime show than the game. And so whatever Rihanna says is like the gospel, so I’m glad she went with me for that honor,” Mahomes said with a smile.
“She didn’t. I was just messing with you,” Marshall laughed.
Mahomes was hurt.
“Oh man, you got me up here smiling and smirking,” Mahomes said.
The Pop-star is set to handle Super Bowl LVII’s halftime performance.
Fortunately for Mahomes, he’ll have a chance to prove his status as one of the greatest come Sunday.
The Kansas City Chiefs are now just days away from facing the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII in Arizona.
