It did not take long to find a replacement.
Rihanna confirmed she will play the Super Bowl halftime show with an Instagram post Sunday holding an NFL football.
The Grammy-winning artist previously had the chance to perform at the Super Bowl after the 2018 season, but she turned it down in solidarity with Colin Kaepernick.
Things have clearly changed.
Super Bowl 57 will be held in Glendale, Arizona, at State Farm Stadium. The game will be played on February 12, 2023, and it will be broadcasted by Fox, with Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olsen set to take over the play-by-play booth.
