During a recent video game livestream, the University of Miami quarterback might’ve dropped a major clue about where he’s heading in next week’s NFL Draft.
When asked about his favorite NFL running backs, the 22-year-old casually name-dropped two Tennessee Titans: Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears. Then came the receivers- Treylon Burks and Calvin Ridley- both wearing Titans uniforms as well. The message felt less like a coincidence and more like a subtle confirmation.
All Signs Point To Nashville
Ward’s comments sparked immediate reactions online, with NFL content aggregator Dov Kleiman posting on X, “Cam isn’t even trying to hide it anymore.” A Titans fan page said, “Cam Ward is a Titan, and is not hiding it at all lol.” Even Barstool Sports got in on the buzz, sarcastically musing, “I wonder where he’s being drafted.”

It’s not just internet sleuthing driving the speculation. The Tennessee Titans own the No. 1 overall pick and are reportedly high on Ward after his standout pro day in Coral Gables. According to multiple reports, Ward already met with the Titans’ front office, fueling talk that he’s their guy.

Ward, a transfer from Incarnate Word and Washington State, made the most of his single season in Miami. He led the Hurricanes to a 10-3 record, completed 67.2 percent of his passes, and threw for 4,313 yards with a nation-leading 39 touchdown passes. His accuracy, decision-making, and leadership have reportedly impressed scouts throughout the pre-draft process.
Ward will attend the draft in Green Bay next week alongside fellow quarterback prospects Jaxson Dart from Ole Miss and Alabama’s Jalen Milroe. Notably, Colorado star Shedeur Sanders, once considered Ward’s main competition for the top pick, will skip the event despite finishing the season with 37 touchdown passes and an NCAA-best 74 percent completion rate.
Ward either named players he admires or gave fans a real peek behind the curtain. But his Titans-heavy shoutouts have convinced many that the writing’s on the wall. Now, the commissioner just needs to call his name in Green Bay.
