Roger Goodell and the NFL released a video this past week that not only condemned racism, but it apologized for the league’s failure to listen to the players that voiced their frustration on racial issues by kneeling during the National Anthem.
Many players applauded Goodell, but Carlos Hyde is taking it a step further and is pushing for Colin Kaepernick to be signed after Goodell’s statement.
Colin Kaepernick was the starting quarterback of the San Francisco 49ers when he began kneeling during the 2016 season.
As a result, Colin Kaepernick was blackballed by the league and has been out of a job since 2016. Hyde played alongside Colin Kaepernick with the 49ers when he was with the team from 2014-2016.
It is now up to owners and general managers around the league to stop the blackballing and bring Kaepernick in for a spot he clearly deserves.WANT MORE FROM TOTALPROSPORTS? FOLLOW US ON GOOGLE NEWS.
