It looks like Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has been putting some work in the gym this offseason.
Along with team owners, executives and the other head coaches, Andy Reid was in Palm Beach, Florida, for the annual league meetings to discuss rule changes and other business-related amtters.
So far, the league has passed rules to guarantee each team possession in overtime for regular season games (the rule was only in place for playoff games), moving touchbacks to the 35-yard line, expanding replay assist (for fouls like facemask, horse-collar tackle, hits on a defenseless player, etc.) and using Sony’s Hawk-Eye technology for first-down measurements.
During the annual meetings, Andy Reid showed a noticeable change in his appearance. The legendary head coach looks like he’s cut considerable weight ahead of the 2025 season:

2025 will mark the eighth season of the Mahomes-Reid era. Since Mahomes took over as the starting quarterback in 2018, Kansas City has played in five Super Bowls and seven AFC Championships, winning double-digit games and the AFC West division crown each year.

Reid is just one of five NFL head coaches to win at least three Super Bowl rings, along with Bill Belichick (six), Chuck Noll (four), Bill Walsh (three) and Joe Gibbs (three). If he wins his fourth in 2025, Reid will join Belichick and Noll as the only HCs with at least four Super Bowl championships.
The Chiefs followed up their first Super Bowl loss in the Reid-Mahomes era with three straight AFC Championship Game appearances and two Lombardi Trophies. Who’s to bet against them from getting sweet comeuppance again in 2025?
