Chris Jones has learned his lesson.
The Chiefs’ star defensive lineman received an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty late in Kansas City’s 20-17 loss to Indianapolis on Sunday reportedly was a result of directing “disturbing language” at Colts quarterback Matt Ryan.
It still remains unclear what he exactly said.
Kansas City is looking to bounce back after that loss, so Jones is making sure he won’t hurt his team like that again. Because of that, he won’t be speaking to Tom Brady.
“I will not exchange nothing with Tom. I’m not getting no flags, okay? I don’t know what is allowed and what’s not allowed so I’m not saying nothing. It’s going to be a clean game.”
The Chiefs dropped to 2-1 on the season after the loss.
For the season, Jones has 6 tackles and 2 sacks.
