The fact that the New York Jets saw something in Christian Hackenberg to make them select him in the second round of the 2016 NFL draft continues to be one of those decisions we’ll look back on and question anybody who had something to do with that horrendous decision.
He would soon find himself out of the league and taking his talents to the Alliance of American Football League, where he’s been really bad at times.
The Memphis Express quarterback continued his terrible play on Saturday night when he played against the Orlando Apollos. Before you knew it, Hackennberg had two interceptions and a couple of close calls that should’ve been intercepted.
In the second half, he would be benched.
