According to Tom Pelissero, Browns DE Myles Garrett suffered a shoulder sprain, biceps strain, and minor lacerations in his car accident on Monday.
His status for Week 4 To Be Determined, but Pelissero notes that this is a positive development for the defensive end.
Soon, the Cleveland Browns would release a lengthy statement.
The Cleveland Browns defensive end was reportedly discharged from the hospital Monday night after being involved in a single-car crash earlier in the day. Ohio State Highway Patrol officials said neither alcohol nor drugs were a factor when his car went off the side off the road and flipped several times.
Garrett’s agent, Nicole Lynn, released a statement Monday night:
In 2022, Garrett has appeared in three games for the Browns and recorded seven tackles, three sacks, a forced fumble, and a pass defense.
The team has posted a 2-1 record.
