However, trading Parsons would be an unprecedented move. At just 25 years old, he has amassed 52.5 career sacks and four All-Pro selections, making him one of the most dominant defenders in the league. Any decision to part ways with him would likely face severe backlash from Cowboys fans and analysts alike.

If Dallas does extend Parsons, the price tag will be steep. Cowboys insider Nick Eatman believes Parsons’ contract could mirror Maxx Crosby’s recent three-year, $106 million extension rather than Garrett’s record-breaking deal. “Crosby’s contract is probably the floor for what Parsons will ask,” Eatman noted.
