Back in January, Jordan Schultz of theScore reported that the Cardinals were looking to trade the 2013 first-round pick. The 30-year-old Hopkins is under contract for two more seasons.
A six-game suspension (for violating the NFL’s PEDs policy) and injuries limited Hopkins to nine games last season. He still finished the year with 64 receptions for 717 yards and a trio of touchdown receptions.
The Cardinals acquired Hopkins in a 2020 offseason blockbuster trade with the Houston Texans in a move that predictably turned out to be extremely lopsided in Arizona’s favor. Through three seasons as a Cardinal, Hopkins has 221 receptions for 2,696 yards and 17 touchdowns.
For his career, Hopkins has 853 receptions 11,298 and 71 touchdowns. He has recorded 1,000 yards six times
