A photo of Deion Sanders watching Day 2 of the NFL Draft alongside his sons, Shedeur and Shilo, is going viral online following Shedeur’s shocking slip out of the third round on Friday night.
Shedeur was highly rated coming into the draft, with many expecting him to be a top-10 selection at the very least. However, the people actually making the decisions clearly disagreed, as the former Colorado star is now a fourth-round hopeful and is even in danger of not getting drafted at all.
Shilo, who also declared for the draft, joked on Thursday night that he could be in for a rough ride if his brother was being made to wait. But he couldn’t have known how long that wait would be, as we’re headed toward the later rounds and neither of them has been picked.
The family hosted a live stream on Friday night for rounds two and three, only for it to end in more disappointment. Their faces said it all as they were caught watching proceedings from a couch.

Multiple reporters and analysts have criticized the move to keep Shedeur waiting, with ESPN’s Mel Kiper describing it as “disgusting.”
“I think it’s disgusting,” Kiper said during the network’s broadcast. “I don’t understand what the heck’s going on with this… I don’t see, outside of [not having] the rocket arm, 4.6 speed, [6’3″, 230-pound frame], what is [Shedeur Sanders] lacking? Somebody’s gonna have to explain that one to me.”
Deion Sanders and his sons will learn their futures over the next few hours. Day 3 of the NFL Draft will kick off at 12 p.m. ET this Saturday.
