You’d be hard pressed to find anybody who wasn’t happy for Dez bryant on Sunday.
The Baltimore Ravens wide receiver got to throw up the X after he caught an 11-yard touchdown reception as quarterback Lamar Jackson threw for 243 yards and three touchdowns and added 35 yards and one score on the ground in Baltimore’s dominating 40-14 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
After the game, he talked about how emotional it was for him:
“I’m being honest. I had to hold back my tears,” Bryant said. “It’s very emotional.”
“After I scored, the first person I thought of was my baby girl,” Bryant said. “I’m serious when I tell ya’ll, I had no intentions of playing ball. If it wasn’t for her, I don’t think I’d be out here.”
It was his first touchdown since Dec. 10, 2017 – 1,106 days ago.
