That man making his entrance at MetLife Stadium earlier today may have looked like an extra you’d see on the set of a Top Gun film, but I kid you not, that man is an professional quarterback.
Getting the start in place of the injured Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Gardner Minshew made quite the entrance at MetLife Stadium today. Arriving with his teammates prior to their game against the New York Jets, Minshew was sporting what appeared to be a custom brown leather jacket with an American flag embroidered on the sleeve, and an Eagles logo on the chest.
Throw in the headphones and horseshoe mustache, and you have what is easily the NFL’s swaggiest quarterback.
They say that if you look good, you feel good. And if you feel good, you play good… And let’s just say that this theory definitely applies to Minshew today, as he’s a perfect 8-for-8 for 125 yards and two touchdowns through the Eagles’ first two offensive possessions.
