Earl Thomas may have played his last down as a member of the Baltimore Ravens.
Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reported that the team sent him home from their facility on Friday after he got into a fight with fellow safety Chuck Clark.
According to Pelissero, Thomas is not with the team as they return to the practice field on Saturday.
Jason La Canfora then added the Ravens’ leadership council made it clear to decision-makers they would prefer Thomas to not be around.
Mike Garafolo heard that everything including releasing Thomas is currently on the table for the Ravens.
Thomas agreed to a four-year, $55 million contract with the Ravens last year that includes $32 million fully guaranteed at signing. He played in 15 games last season and recorded 49 tackles, two sacks, two interceptions, a forced fumble, a recovery and four passes defended.
