This is where we are in the NFL offseason with Tom Brady, where we are dissecting what he possibly said during a college basketball game.
A few days ago, Brady and Julian Edelman were in attendance as Syracuse took on UNC, and when the camera focused on the duo, it prompted Edelman to declare, “He’s coming back. He’s coming back.”
Brady looked quite uncomfortable as he replied either “he’s not” or “this guy.”
We now know we were all wrong.
Enhanced audio was shared on Monday and you can actually hear somebody asked Brady what he said to Syracuse head coach Jim Boeheim.
Brady shook his head and just said, “He’s got it.”
He wasn’t even responding to Edelman at all.
