Amid questions about her future as a reporter at Fox Sports, Erin Andrews was honored by a top NFL team during a special event on Friday.
Raymond James Stadium, the home of the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers, hosted the “She is Football Weekend Summit” on Friday. Erin Andrews and her “Calm Down” podcast co-host, Charissa Thompson, headlined the event that helped female attendees advance their careers and get a behind-the-scenes look at the life of an NFL reporter.
Andrews and Thompson did a live recording of their popular podcast at the event, too. The Buccaneers shared a photo of the women who attended the event and Andrews responded with this heartwarming message on X/Twitter:
This was beyond special! Thank you @Buccaneers for bringing the @calmdownpodcast to you She is Football Summit ❤️❤️ @CharissaT https://t.co/R0QJE6c9Cf

Erin Andrews revealed on the “Calm Down” podcast last month that her contract with Fox Sports expired following Super Bowl 59. Many assume that the network will bring back the popular talent, but details on possible contract negotiations aren’t exactly clear at this time.
Fox Sports Will Likely Work Extensively To Keep Erin Andrews

The 46-year-old Andrews worked at ESPN from 2004 to 2012 before leaving the Worldwide Leader in Sports for Fox. She has worked five Super Bowl games for the network: Super Bowls 48, 51, 54, 57 and 59.

As Andrews has been a central part of Fox Sports’ NFL broadcasts for more than a decade, it would be a surprise if they didn’t work hard to re-sign her. Of course, Andrews would be highly sought-after by other networks if she decided to field other offers.
