Erin Andrews is currently receiving support from NFL fans as she’s going through a challenging year in her personal and professional life.
During a recent episode of her Calm Down podcast with Charissa Thompson, Andrews, 46, opened up about her struggles. The veteran NFL sideline reporter opened up about her struggles with balancing motherhood, work, and her clothing line, WEAR by EA.
After welcoming her son Mack via surrogacy in the summer of 2023 following years of fertility issues, Andrews expressed the emotional toll of a working mother.
“It’s really hard, it really is. My better half works in the hockey world, and so his season is going on at the same time. This was a really, really hard year. I’m going to get emotional about it,” she said.
“The first year when [Mack] was a newborn, it was fine. It was like smell ya later and I really wasn’t really saying [that], but it was like, ‘OK, bye!’ We worked so hard to have Mack, and it took us forever to have him — and we faced a lot of loss, and he finally came,” Andrews added.
While managing everything on her own, the sportscaster had a really tough time dealing with multiple roles, all at a single time. After opening up about her untold battles, she has got her NFL fans thinking of her. However, she kept on working really hard to finally overcome her personal life challenges.
